ESMI Registrar Celebrates SGF Akume at 72

The Environment and Safety Management Institute has felicitated with the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Dr George Akume, on his 72nd birthday anniversary, describing him as an exceptional leader whose contributions continue to inspire generations of Nigerians.

In a birthday message personally signed by the Institute's Registrar, Mrs Evelyn Chinelo Agu, the professional body expressed immense pride in counting the SGF among its distinguished Fellows, noting his unwavering commitment to national development and good governance.

Mrs Agu, writing on behalf of the Management, Staff, and entire membership of the Institute, praised Senator Akume's remarkable career trajectory from legislative excellence to his current pivotal role as SGF, highlighting how his dedication aligns perfectly with the core values of environmental sustainability and safety management championed by the Institute.

Senator Dr George Akume, a Fellow of the Environment and Safety Management Institute (FESMI), has been at the helm of the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, coordinating the implementation of government policies and programmes across various sectors of the Nigerian economy.
