Calling on the authorities to investigate the activities of Mrs. Joyce Mathew, operating in a disguise of an NGO to swindle the vulnerable people.

A letter to the Nigeria Police Force, the EFCC and the ICPC

 I am reaching out to expose and bring to your kind attention the humanitarian activities of Mrs. Joyce Mathew that are purely fraudulent. She is operating under the guise of an NGO with a name: ''Supreme Family Entertainment International Initiative'' where she claims to be an ambassador, providing humanitarian services that are swindling and deceptive.

 In June 2025, Mrs. Joyce Mathew announced her plan to alleviate poverty by engaging the unemployed youth with Tricycles for commercial purpose. Those interested were to make initial deposit to show commitment and thereafter, get Tricycles for commercial use and pay gradually to retain ownership after completing the required amount.

The investigation revealed that many unemployed youth made deposit, ranging from Three Hundred Thousands (N300,000) Naira and above but thereafter, no Tricycle was given to anyone and the deposits made were not refunded.

One of the victims, Mr. Barnabas Beebee Sharbee, who deposited N300,000, lamented that it was a loan his wife collected to give him with hope to get the Tricycle and kick start the business to repay the loan. ''My wife is no longer meeting up as i am not having the Keke to run around and help in paying the loan she collected. The interest has now accumulated more than the capital collected to deposit for Keke,'' he disclosed.

Responding, Mrs. Joyce Mathew promised to refund his money but did that reluctantly after mounting pressure with a threat to expose her. Part of Mr. Barnabas's money was refunded by Mrs. Joyce Mathew's husband and other parts by Mrs. Joyce but in installments, preventing her victim from making a good use of the money.

Aside Barnabas, there are other victims who are voiceless, frustrated and confused, calling for help. The Nigeria Police Force, the EFCC and ICPC, should please, investigate the humanitarian activities of Mrs. Joyce Mathew and bring her to book in order to prevent others from being her victims.
