The Kwande Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Neji Vitalis Terhile, has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Kwande Local Government security operatives who rescued Mr. Emmanuel Tor Yaji, a kidnapped victim from Vandeikya, who was held captive in Nambe.
Hon. Terhile specifically thanked Operation Zenda, and the Joint Task Force (JTF) for their tireless efforts in ensuring the safe return of Mr. Yaji. He also commended Mr. Akaa Aondohemba, President General of Mbaikyan Development Association and Kwande youths, for their crucial role in facilitating the rescue operation.
The Chairman took the opportunity to warn youths against engaging in such nefarious activities, emphasizing the importance of reporting any suspicious activities to the authorities. His message was clear: ‘the community will not tolerate kidnapping and other criminal acts, and those involved will face the full force of the law.’
Hon. Neji Vitalis Terhile, wishes the entire Kwande Local Government a happy, peaceful, and prosperous New Year.
As we celebrate this joyous occasion, he urged everyone to remain vigilant and report any suspicious movement or action to the authorities immediately. The Chairman thanked youths and urged them to work together to maintain the peace and security of our community, in order to build a safer and more harmonious Kwande together.
