Benue State Governor Dr Hyacinth Alia Sunday, December 08, 2024 attended the Thanksgiving Mass in honour of his brother and friend, Dr. Goldman who was convocated yesterday after completing a course of study for Doctor of philosophy at the Benue State University, Makurdi.
Speaking after the Mass which held at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, behind International Market, Makurdi, Governor Alia expressed admiration for Dr. Goldman’s hard work and resilience, stressing that the milestone he has achieved represented his dedication, intelligence, and perseverance in pursuing the highest level of education in his chosen field of study.
“It gives me joy to celebrate this monumental occasion with you. The journey to a PhD is one of hard work and perseverance. It involves long hours of study, research, experimentation, and analysis. We applaud your hard-earned success and the commitment it took to get here”. The Governor added.
He congratulated Dr. Goldman and all those who bagged their PhD yesterday, describing them as experts whose knowledge would not only advance their career prospects but also benefit the Benue society through scholarly work and applied research.
The former Governor of Benue State, Dr. Gabriel Suswam also attended the Thanksgiving Mass amongst heads of Parastatals and other top government appointees.
