Food Basket Brewery Reaches 80 Percent Completion

 

The Food Basket Brewery, spearheaded by the Benue Investment and Property Company Limited (BIPC), has achieved a significant milestone with its project now 80 percent complete.

Dr. Raymond Asemakaha-CFA, the Managing Director/CEO, expressed pride in the progress made, stating, “This remarkable achievement reflects the dedication and hard work of our project team, contractors, and stakeholders.”

The brewery aims to establish a state-of-the-art facility that will not only produce high-quality beverages, including beer and other drinks, but also create employment opportunities, stimulate economic growth, and enhance the state’s revenue.

“With 80 percent of the project completed, we are on track to commence operations soon,” Asemakaha added. The brewery plans to utilize locally sourced ingredients and advanced technology to ensure product quality.

“The completion of the Food Basket Brewery project is poised to have a positive impact on the economy of Benue State. It is expected to create jobs, generate revenue, and contribute to local industry growth and GDP,” he explained.

Philip Zegejir, the Project Manager, assured stakeholders of the project’s timely completion. “We are committed to finishing the Food Basket Brewery on schedule,” he said.

“Our team has been working tirelessly to ensure that every aspect of the project meets the highest standards of quality and excellence. We are confident in our ability to meet our deadline and deliver a world-class brewery that will make Benue State proud,” Zegejir affirmed.

Speaking on the issue, a public affairs analyst and coordinator, Zone A Alia Consolidation Forum Mr Martin Iorsamber said “with its projected opening in sight, the Food Basket Brewery promises to be a significant contributor to the region’s economic landscape”. Mr Martin was optimistic that the BIPC was on track in driving economic development under the leadership of Dr Asemakaha and urge the people of the state to keep faith with the Alia Administration for a better Benue.
