The Alia Performing Musicians Association (APMA) last Friday night presented an award of “Man with a Heart of Gold” to Hon. Francis Ushahemba Ngutswen, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Special Groups Mobilization.
The award presentation was made during a birthday anniversary celebration in honor of Hon. Ngutswen at Benjax International Bar, High Level, Makurdi.
According to the President of APMA, Mrs. Queen Bridget Saakaan, the award was in appreciation of Hon. Ngutswen’s wonderful works in supporting groups and other Benue people in support of Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia’s administration.
Mrs. Saakaan while describing Hon. Ngutswen as a humble, gentle, hardworking, and committed appointee of the Governor, whose efforts have impacted many lives, prayed for God’s blessings upon him as he continues his good work for the common people.
The Patron of Alia Performing Musician Association and Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Mobilization and illegal Levies, Hon. Terver Gbenda, presented the award to Hon. Ngutswen. He congratulated him on his new age, describing him as a dependable brother and friend, and prayed for God’s blessings upon him.
In his response, Hon. Ngutswen appreciated God for the gift of a new age and commended the Alia Performing Musician Association for the honor done to him. He also commended Hon. Terver Gbenda and all the people who came out to celebrate with him, praying for God’s blessings upon them abundantly.
The birthday anniversary celebration was attended by family, friends, some government appointees, staff of the Special Groups Mobilization’s office and many others.
Meanwhile, the event featured performances by many artists and members of the Alia Performing Musician Association .
