Governor Abdullahi Sule has transmitted to the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, NSHA, names of 16 commissioner-nominees for appointments into various ministries of the State.
The Speaker of the House, Danladi Jatau announced this on Monday while reading the governor’s letter at plenary.
The commissioner-nominees include former Lawmakers, Tanko Tunga and Mohammed Ibrahim Aggah who represented Awe North and Nassarawa Eggon East Constituencies respectively.
Immediate past Executive Chairmen of Lafia and Nassarawa Local Government Councils, Aminu Muazu Maifata and Mohammed Sani Otto also made the list.
Others are Yakubu Kwanta(Akwanga), Princess Margaret Itake Elayo(Keana), Munirat Abdullahi(Doma), Dr. Gaza Gwamna(Toto), Mu’azu Gosho(Wamba) and John Mamman (Kokona).
Three legal practitioners namely David Moyi(Obi), Jugbo Hauwa Samuel(Wamba) and Isaac Danladi Amadu from Karu also made the list.
For Keffi, Dr. Ibrahim Tanko was nominated for appointment as Commissioner; Comrade Gabriel Agbashi, Doma) and CP Usman Baba(rtd.).
