Hon. Neji Marks 100 Days in Office With Transformational Achievements

The Executive Chairman of Kwande Local Government Area, Hon. Neji Vitalis Terhile, has celebrated his first 100 days in office with an inspiring record of accomplishments that have brought a renewed sense of hope and progress to the people of Kwande.

Hon. Neji’s administration has left no stone unturned in its mission to deliver impactful projects that touch the lives of every citizen. In just 100 days, he has illuminated Kwande with the installation of solar-powered streetlights at key locations, ensuring safety, improving nighttime visibility, and fostering economic activities. These areas include: ACC Public ground Adikpo, Police Station Adikpo, Big Garage Adikpo, New Market Adikpo, Rice Mills Adikpo, Local Government Secretariat as well as Adikpo Roundabout. The solar light project also touched numerous locations in Shangev-ya, including: Ajio, St. ThomasN, KST Akaa, St. Peter Catholic Church, Koti market, Koti Council Hall and Sati market.

To further enhance accessibility and infrastructure, the construction of a bridge at Old Road near the General Hospital is already in progress, a testament to his unwavering commitment to development.

Hon. Neji has also taken bold steps to tackle insecurity, ensuring that peace and stability prevail across the Local Government. He has demonstrated his environmental consciousness by engaging Tosino Integrated Services LTD, Makurdi, to clear and manage waste, ensuring Adikpo town streets remain clean and healthy.

Understanding the importance of staff welfare, he has cleared all outstanding salaries owed to casual staff and has repaired and renovated all government vehicles in the Kwande Local Government Secretariat, boosting productivity and administrative efficiency.

As if these achievements were not enough, Hon. Neji has assured the good people of Kwande that this is just the beginning. In the coming week, his administration will commence the installation of boreholes and additional solar light systems in various locations across the Local Government, further addressing the pressing needs of the people and enhancing their quality of life.

In his words, Hon. Neji Vitalis Terhile stated, “We are just getting started. Our vision for Kwande is to make it a beacon of progress and prosperity, and I assure you that even greater things are on the way.”
