The Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, today received in audience, the National Leadership of the Sports Writers’ Association of Nigeria (SWAN) led by its National President, Comrade Isaiah Kemje Benjamin.
The Sports Writers’ Association of Nigeria Honoured Governor Sule with the ICON OF SPORTS Award, the first time such an award was bestowed on any individual in Northern Nigeria.
The award is in recognition of the Governor’s immense support and innovations towards sports development in the State.
